Immobilization
Aminoethyl Agarose Beads

Low Pressure
Immobilization is a technique that binds a biomolecule (enzyme, antibody, affinity proteins like
Protein A or G) to a support giving high stability and making easier re-using the biomolecule.
Aminoethyl agarose beads are ready to add the ligand and require no
activation. Aminoethyl beads allow covalent binding of agarose to acidic group amino acids of the target biomolecule. Choice of degree of activation will depend on the resins' different density of reaction groups and pore size.
